The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles tease the release of their first solo NFT project.

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (TMNT), the notorious crime-fighting reptilians from the animated television show Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (TMNT), are gearing up to release a new NFT collection. The franchise’s previous collection was curated in partnership with Funko and TokenHead as part of the Funko Digital Pop! NFT series, therefore this will be its first independent NFT production.
The announcement was made via a short teaser trailer, which also served as the first tweet of the franchise’s new Twitter feed, which was built specifically for its NFT efforts. ‘Incoming Call from NYC’s Sewers, Transformation Has Begun…’ reads the caption. A glass capsule of what looks to be ‘Mutagen,’ the series’ villain ‘The Kraang’s brilliant green biochemical weapon,’ falls into a sewer drain, causing a mysterious green light to shine upwards and forth from its depths, according to the cartoon teaser. The TMNT NFT collection will be released sometime in Spring 2022, according to the teaser.
The account’s only other tweet is a response to Seth Green, one of the several voice actors for Leonardo, the gang’s leader and tactical commander.
As of now, this is the only information available, so make sure to keep up with the project’s progress by following the franchise’s specialised Twitter profile.
