Mike Tyson will launch the Binance NFT Marketplace’s Mystery Box NFT Collection.

Mike Tyson, the former boxing champion, is the latest celebrity to promote an NFT collection.

Mike Tyson, arguably the greatest boxer of all time, will unveil a Mystery Box NFT collection on Binance NFT (the non-fungible token marketplace of the crypto exchange). The auction will commence at 11:00 UTC on April 5, 2022.

“Iron Mike” is now a part of the NFT craze.

Non-fungible tokens have arisen as a fascinating niche in recent months, with a slew of celebrities, athletes, and musicians launching their own collections. Mike Tyson, the former boxing champion, is the most recent to join the bandwagon.

The American and his team worked with Binance NFT Marketplace to expose 15,000 digital valuables to the global audience, according to a document seen by CryptoPotato. The Mystery Box NFT, which includes “Iron Mike’s” boxing gloves, T-shirts, shorts, warm-up gear, and other autographed stuff, is available for $44 BUSD to sale participants. Fans may also purchase a never-before-seen Mike Tyson NFT, which was drawn by renowned illustrator Henric Aryee.

Exclusive access, awards, and information on impending Mike Tyson NFT and Metaverse launches will be provided to increase interaction. Fans will also receive three additional special edition non-fungible tokens for free, which will be airdropped later in 2022.

The Mystery Box NFT sale will begin at 11:00 AM UTC on April 5, 2022 and end at 11:00 PM UTC on April 5, 2022. Following then, the secondary market will open. Bronze (9,000 NFTs), Silver (4,000 NFTs), Gold (1,950 NFTs), Platinum (35 NFTs), and Diamond (15 NFTs) are the five designs available, with the rarest being autographed by the boxing legend.

This isn’t Tyson’s first foray into the realm of cryptocurrency. He questioned his 5.7 million Twitter followers whether they preferred Bitcoin or Ethereum last summer. People advised him to stay away from the cryptocurrency market, while others argued that both cryptocurrencies offer huge prospects.

Michael Saylor, a bitcoin evangelist, joined the conversation as well. The CEO of MicroStrategy said he spent “more than a thousand hours considering this topic” before deciding on BTC, which he described as “the future of digital property.”

The NFT Collection of Tyson Fury

Tyson Fury, the reigning heavyweight boxing champion, is another athlete who has created an NFT collection. He teamed up with FomoLab in May 2021 to launch his digital collectibles on HoDooi.com. The boxer (nicknamed “Gypsy King”) had this to say about the project:

“To launch my NFT collection, HoDooi.com will be the official NFT store.” I’m excited to show my fans and their users what we’ve accomplished. You giant dossers, be ready for the release!”

Matt Luczynski, Co-Founder and CEO of HoDooi, expressed optimism that collaborations like the one with Fury will help his company further expand its multichain platform and user experience.
