A beautiful poster campaign called ‘IMAGINE,’ which was recently launched to address unconscious gender bias, is currently up for auction as NFTs. The auction will take place on June 17 at The Mondrian Hotel in Shoreditch, as part of an evening event celebrating female diversity in art and allowing attendees to learn more about Web3 creativity. The auction’s revenues will go to three charity, marking the start of a long-term fundraising drive.
NFTs for IMAGINE Posters
To commemorate International Women’s Day, a series of stunning posters first appeared online and throughout UK outdoor advertising sites. In response to the outpouring of support, the posters’ creators at ad agency CPB London created an NFT collection, which serves as a permanent record of the original work.
On June 17, guests who win the auction for their favorite poster will take home the tangible painting. They’ll also get a one-of-a-kind NFT that was created on the Polygon blockchain. Collectors will have the opportunity to sell it on secondary markets if they so desire.
The NFT includes a philanthropic commitment of 10% of all future trades. Furthermore, in an ad-infinitum fundraising drive organized by CPB London, the cash raised will be distributed between Beyond Equality, the Women for Women’s Ukraine fund, and the Young Women’s Trust.
Prior to the auction, a panel of speakers will address how Web3 might alter philanthropic financing arrangements and connect worldwide communities to make a long-lasting effect. The following people have been added to the panel:
– Leah Sams, the dynamo driving the Power of Women NFTs
– Tina Ziegler, NFT consultant and art curator who collaborated on the current Adidas NFT show
-Lavinia Devonshire, the founder of Women in Blockchain Talks (and the complainant in last month’s landmark NFT-theft court case)
PAOPs will be distributed to all attendees of the event.
A free POAP, a unique proof of attendance protocol NFT, will be given to all attendees of the IMAGINE Poster NFT auction. Furthermore, they will be given first priority for a follow-up collection. Artists will interpret the issue of unconscious gender bias in new ways in this anthology.
There will also be a sneak peek at the artworks at the event. Furthermore, further art collections will be available on Rarible later this year. The collection will benefit both young and known artists, as well as the original three charities, through an in-built royalty structure.
CPB London’s managing director, Helen James, said:

Using NFTs to mint the collection allows us to not only preserve the work for posterity on the blockchain, but also to boost the philanthropic fundraising component owing to Web3’s miracles.”
NFT art is a fast expanding area, with London serving as one of two major global auction hubs. According to NonFungible’s research, the total value of NFT transactions doubled to around £178 million last year. However, the money generated by many of these transactions typically remains in the hands of men. According to ArcTactic, women own just about 16% of all NFTs.
This situation mirrors a lack of gender parity in the traditional art sector as a whole. Women’s artwork sells for a significantly lower price at auction than men’s. Moreover, despite the fact that women are the topic of over half of the top 25, only two works by women have ever broken into the top 100 auction sales for paintings.
