Sales of ENS domains are at an all-time high.
ENS domains cost 2492 ETH ($7.3 million) to register and 169 ETH ($510k) to renew in April. As a result, the ENS DAO has earned a total of 2660 ETH ($7.8M). In fact, the DAO token now has 57.5k token holders and a market cap of $1 billion when completely diluted.
Meanwhile, four-digit numbers accounted for 41% of all secondary ENS market sales, while three-digit numbers accounted for 2%. On May 6th, 2022, users minted out all 100k 5-digit ENS domains.
Furthermore, in April, the monthly secondary market trade volume of ENS domains reached a record high of $16 million. It will also set a new all-time high with over $55 million in trades just in May!
ENS domains are currently registered with over 406k unique addresses. This number does not include expired names that are still inside their 90-day renewal grace period.
Over 1.1 million ENS domains have been registered as of this writing. ENS domains also have a total secondary sales volume of 29.6k ETH, with over 386k owners.
