NFT News

For the launch of their campaign, Pepsi and Carla Hall are giving out free NFTs.

The inaugural “Strength of a Woman” Festival & Summit was co-presented by Pepsi and American singer and songwriter Mary J. Blige. They staged a variety of events in Atlanta to encourage female artists, musicians, creatives, entrepreneurs, and others. The complimentary POAP NFTs supplied especially to summit attendees were one of the weekend’s highlights.

What happened over the weekend? Pepsi ft.

For starters, the Tabernacle of Atlanta hosted a Gen Z concert on opening night. StarchildKayla, a Pepsi Music Lab finalist, debuted her new original track, Up!, at the event.

Then, Pepsi Dig In’s new restaurant royalty programme is launched by celebrity chef Carla Hall. The community can suggest their favourite eateries to be included in this list, which focuses on black-owned businesses. Carla Hall hosted a panel of Black female-owned restaurants at the event, which discussed current concerns in the food industry.

Pepsi Stronger Together also contributed $20,000 to the City of Refuge, which helps women in need. This gift will go towards providing needed professional and everyday attire, as well as personal care goods. City of Refuge is a nonprofit organisation that helps families and individuals in need. They support the donation-based closet initiative and assist their female residents in getting back on their feet.

Finally, Pepsi collaborated with some of the industry’s greatest female Web3 artists to provide free Proof of Attendance Protocols (POAPs) NFTs. All summit attendees received one of the NFTs, which were on exhibit during the event.

The event was a big success overall. Pepsi continues to effect change through its global presence and rich musical and entertainment heritage.
