Celebrity Cruises, known for their next-generation ships, has launched their first NFT collection, which will be available on Web3. Their first collection is a collaboration with Rubem Robierb, a long-time artist with the cruise company.
Peacemakers Sunset NFTs are the first NFT collection from Celebrity Cruises.
Celebrity Cruises’ Peacemakers Sunset NFT collection is a limited edition of five motion art pieces. From May 18 to 22, one of them is on show at the Cube Art Fair in Time Square.
The collection also goes well with Robierb’s strong Peacemakers sculpture, which can be found on Celebrity’s brand new ship, Celebrity Beyond. Additionally, the Celebrity Beyond has a variant of these NFTs called “Peacemakers, Blue Sky,” making it the first NFT at Sea.
Its owners will receive two invites that money can’t buy as bonuses and benefits. They’ll be able to attend the Celebrity Beyond’s special naming ceremony and sailing in Fort Lauderdale with these tickets.
The collection’s meaning is explained by Robierb, who developed the NFTs: “Peacemakers represents two intertwined doves, a tribute to the world’s peacemakers.” Peace is a collective act that can never be taken for granted, as the NFTs demonstrate.”
When will I be able to purchase Celebrity Cruises NFTs?
On June 1, the NFTs will be available for purchase on OpenSea. The artist will receive the proceeds from the sales.
Finally, each owner of a Peacemakers Sunset NFT will receive invitations and a roundtrip ticket for two to the ship’s naming ceremony and sailing on November 4-6 at 5 p.m. ET on July 1.
